Our South American Think Studio, EcoArki, through the work of its Director Rodolfo Beltran Bravo is proud recipient of this year’s International Green Award in the category of ‘Best Collaboration Innitiative,’ for his work during his tenure as Director of Agrorural and the ’230 Million Tree Campaign.’ EcoArki was also in the running for best overall category ‘Grand Prix Winner;’ award that went to Unilever PLC from the UK for their creative awarness campaign.
The awards ceremony took place in the iconic Natural History Meseum in London on Thursday 24th.
When receiving the award, Rodolfo Beltran added:
“…this is a proud moment for all of Peru, Latinamerica and Humanity. I feel honored to receive this award and accept that we now live in a world where planting trees is finally an effort worthy of international recognition.”
The highlight of the night was the “Lifetime Achievement Award” which honoured the life and work of the wonderful Whangari Maathai. The night also included some great speakers which included Peter Byck, director and producer of Carbon Nation and Nick Nutall, Acting Communications Director & Spokesperson of UNEP.
