Bio-Glass » Stylish Recycled Glass Surface Panels
Bio-Glass is a very stylish surface material made of 100% recycled glass without additives or the use of any new resources in its production. The colour of the material depends on the source of the glass and it is currently available in 6 different colours. (Aquamarine, Emerald Forest, Fossil Amber, Malachite, Oriental Jade & White Diamond). THe Lighter white and green colours are made with glass that comes directly from other manufacturers broken during various manufacturing processes. The darker colours come from recycled beer and drink bottles. The material is durable, long-lasting and can still be recycled after the end of its life cycle which again enhance its green credentials.
Bio-Glass comes from US Manufacturer Coverings ETC which also manufacture a number of other recycled surface materials which are definitely worth considering in your next green project.
