There are a lot of eco-friendly toothbrushes which can help fight plaque and gum disease, whilst contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable planet.
1.Preserve Toothbrush
The first eco-friendly toothbrush is the Preserve toothbrush, which is made of recycled yogurt cups, with the handle made of 100% recycled materials. The handle is curved, so it is easy to grip and the bristles are tiered so the user will get a more gentle but thorough cleaning. The toothbrushes are made in the USA and can be recycled when you are finished with them.
2.Environmental Toothbrush
The second eco friendly toothbrush is the Environmental toothbrush. The Environmental toothbrush is made from bamboo, which is a natural cellulose fibre, so the toothbrushes can break down very easily after they have been recycled. Therefore, the toothbrushes will not pollute the environment when they are thrown away. Using bamboo is also ecologically effective, as bamboo has the greatest regrowth rate of any other plant, so is a great deal more sustainable as a material. The company even makes their packaging out of recycled materials.
3.Radius Source Toothbrush
The third eco-friendly toothbrush is the Radius Source toothbrush. The Radius Source toothbrush is made from almost all recycled materials, with the toothbrush mainly made of recycled wood. All of these things are blended together to make a great toothbrush. The heads of the toothbrush is very lightweight, but will not break, so the handle of the toothbrush will last you a lifetime.
4.Dr. Du-More’s Oxo-Birodegradable
The fourth eco-friendly toothbrush is the Dr. Du-More’s Oxo-Biodegradable toothbrush, which is made of OXO Biodegradable Plastic. This plastic consists of CO2, water and humus. This means that the toothbrushes will not leave any fragments of debris in the soil of the Earth. The bristles of the toothbrush are soft and anti-bacterial. All of the toothbrushes are made in the USA. Plus the toothbrushes are 100% approved by the FDA.
5.Acca Kappa Toothbrush
The fifth eco-friendly toothbrush is the Acca Kappa toothbrush. The Acca Kappa toothbrush is made from biodegradable resin, which has no colour and is therefore non-toxic, so it is good for both the Earth and your teeth and gums. The toothbrush has bristles that are all-natural and can help a person on their way to a strong and healthy smile with great teeth.
